A.K.A. groundhogs
Woodchucks or groundhogs would be nice to have around, if they didn't dig!
The problem with woodchucks isn't what they eat, as much as the holes and burrows they dig. Their diet is mostly grass and clover. True, they will wreck a garden given the chance, but the real problem with woodchucks is their holes and burrows, They will often choose to dig their burrows under the foundation of a building, or even more commonly a storage shed.
They are not a significant carrier of diseases.
Occasionally, they will pick a pond dam and destroy the dam. Overtime, their burrows collapse and the foundation or pond dam can be compromised.
If you see woodchucks, or suspect that they are living under your buildings, call Predator Impact. We will quickly and easily trap them and relocate them to our wildlife sanctuary.
